Autumnal Fairy

DSCF5522

My children want to know if this is how fairies are born… someone finds them in a rosebush? I’ve no idea, though i’ve never heard of a fairy maternity hospital so it could be. I think there is a mummy looking for this one though.

Ribbit

DSCF5343

My 2 year old has named this turtle Ribbit; he’s not a frog, he’s a turtle, but it cuts no ice with her. Another one i’ve made following some book instructions as a practise, but i am really pleases with the attitude of his legs, his eyes and the glittery green i used for his shell.

Pixieland

These were pretty much my first go at FIMO after a 12 year break. 3/4 of it is completely copied and the bit that isn’t (the goblin!) really isn’t that great, but it was fun to be getting back into it emoticon

Mummy Pixie

DSCF5402

Inspired by a character in a fimo book (must find the link!) i’ve been playing with a set of fairy-like characters. This is one of the earlier ones, who i made to hold the baby, all nestled up in her leaves. The baby was a pre-baked, absentminded twiddle, but she needed a mum. I’m fairly sure the mummy must be breastfeeding ;)

Wendy The Welcome Fairy

This is my new plan to get ideas for making things up somewhere quickly before i add them to the main BeadMerrily site. That can be time consuming, but publishing on a blog will allow me to show you what we’ve been up to on a day to day basis. I hope you enjoy emoticon
