This angel has bed hair, crumpled wings and a wonky halo. What HAS she been up to?

Working on it, working on it. The trick to floaty dresses is to make a pillar of waste clay inside, then drape a thin sheet of your dress colour over the top, then nip and tuck to taste  

I’ve had a challenge to make some Christmas tree fairies and angels. These are my first goes; i’m quite pleased with the one on the left. 

Autumn chills are in the air and the leaves are turning brown. Certainly true here but there is still time for a little lounging about in the last warmth of the year. 

Autumnal Fairy

My children want to know if this is how fairies are born… someone finds them in a rosebush? I’ve no idea, though i’ve never heard of a fairy maternity hospital so it could be. I think there is a mummy looking for this one though.

um…blue! I’m spotting a theme!

 My 2 year old has named this turtle Ribbit; he’s not a frog, he’s a turtle, but it cuts no ice with her. Another one i’ve made following some book instructions as a practise, but i am really pleases with the attitude of his legs, his eyes and the glittery green i used for his shell.

Must have anotrher go at this one now i’ve got my hand back in!
